This
CD is released on the Pegasus budget label and
cost the princely sum of £2-99 and contains about half of the 1984 overdubs
by the Picks.The new workings around Buddy's original tracks work very well and are a tribute to that seminal moment when three ingredients came together to make musical magic in 1957 with the release of "The Chirping Crickets" album. When that album was being assembled the Picks were fusing their particular brand of harmonies with Holly's songwriting talents and of course Norman Petty supplied his genius at the mixing desk.
