The cover photograph shows Buddy (left), Larry Welborn (centre) and Bob Montgomery (right). The album contains some of Buddy's earliest recordings and therefore were not considered of a high enough quality for general release until much later when Norman Petty was running out of further items that were suitable for release. However when given a hearing they represent a growing talent that was to attain stardom just a couple or so years later.
