Buddy was exited at the prospect of securing a recording contract and with this in mind he recorded four tracks which were submitted to Decca's Nashville, Tennessee studio. He was accepted but when he arrived there he found the studio at that time was more used to recording country music, so when he set out to try and create some Rock'n' Roll records he found some opposition to what he wanted to do and found the atmosphere was not condusive with the type of music he wanted to play. However when these recordings are compared with other artists that were around at that time they stand up well to comparison in terms of quality.
