This
is my personal favourite Crickets recording, when I first heard it in 1957
at the age of 12 I was completely knocked out by it's freshness, for at
that time there were no radio stations playing that kind of music in the
U.K.
Not matched until the Beatles came on the music scene, this album set the
pattern for a million groups to appear at the turn of the decade. It is
said that this album was a rush release to capitalize on The Crickets successful
first two releases "That'll Be The Day"
and "Oh Boy".
The album "Buddy Holly"
was also released to make a pair of gems never to be repeated.
