Buddy Holly
The Collection
On my Rarities page there's an album that was released by a British chain store called Marks and Spencer and it's just about the hardest Holly recording to find.
Well here's another release for the new millenium from M&S and no doubt this will become a collectors item in the future. The multi coloured insert is well documented with a story by Dave McAleer which outlines Buddy's impact on the British music scene around the time of his UK tour.

Dave's final paragraph includes this sentence "The passing of time has not lessened the impact of Holly's music, collections of his hits have topped the UK charts in 1978 and 1993, and as we enter a new millenium his influence is still being felt, forty years after ....'The day the music died'"
