Unusually for a Buddy Holly CD this is a terrific presentation from Prism Records. It comes complete with detailed sleeve notes plus artwork that would shame some full priced releases and a picture CD. The songs as suggested by the title of the CD are a compilation of the less well known tracks recorded originally by Buddy Holly with overdubs added at a later date. While the last four tracks are recorded by The Picks and do not contain Buddy's voice, they give an insight to the high quality vocals of this capable trio.
