This CD has a number of interesting tracks which give an insight how Holly and Petty worked to achieve the exact sound that all Buddy fans came to know and love. It's a pretty poor presentation with poor artwork and a rear sleeve liner that is just a converted cassette cover! Luckily the contents of the CD bear no relation to the presentation, there are so many different versions of songs that this is a major release indeed!
Some tracks are alternative versions, some are incomplete and because some of Buddy's work was overdubbed after his death, there are some tracks that are presented in their original format with no additional musicians to get in the way of some of the finest songs ever written. The main tracks are the so called "Apartment Tapes" and with a few minor exceptions they are all here.......
